Paying your premium

If you have already paid your premium but have not received your enrollment confirmation, you may need to contact the Health Connector to find out the status of your payment.

If you paid using your bank’s bill pay option:
  • Allow 2 – 4 business days from the time of your bill pay request so your payment can be processed.
If you paid using an electronic funds transfer (EFT):
  • Allow 2 – 4 business days from the time of your EFT so your payment can be processed.
    If you paid by check:
  • Allow mailed checks up to 6 business days to be processed.
  • Allow checks dropped off in-person 2 – 4 business days to be processed.

If you have allowed adequate processing time based on this information, contact the Health Connector at 877-MA-ENROLL (877-623-6765). You can also visit MAhealthconnector.org/about/contact to learn about the Health Connector’s extended hours.

If you have not paid your first month’s premium, you must pay now for your coverage to begin on March 1. If you have other questions about making a payment, call our Enrollment Helpline at 800-573-3345, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Please note: Tufts Health Plan cannot process premium payments. You must pay your premium through the Health Connector.

If you apply for and enroll in a plan through the Health Connector, it’s important to pay your premium (if you owe one) by the payment deadline. If you miss your payment deadline, your coverage will not start on the first of the following month.
