Behavioral health assessments for children

As part of the Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI), Massachusetts requires behavioral health providers to perform the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS-MA version) assessment for Network Health Together (MassHealth) patients under the age of 21. We will add $15 to your regular payment if you complete the initial CANS assessment during the first or second patient visit.

Better patient self-management with health coaching

Our health coaching program empowers your patients to manage their health. Our health coaches are trained nurses, respiratory therapists, and dieticians who can help your patients make healthier food choices, understand their medication, and learn when to report symptoms to their health care providers.

Change to state-supplied vaccines for adults

As of July 1, 2011, the state of Massachusetts no longer supplies immunization antigens for adults age 19 and over. Network Health will always reimburse the administration cost and will also reimburse the cost of an antigen when the antigen is a covered benefit for your Network Health patient. The state continues to supply antigens for children under the age of 19.

You must submit all new claims within 90 days of the date of service, including claims resulting from an accident where a third party is liable for full or partial payment.
