Federal regulations require all providers to begin submitting Version 5010 of the HIPAA transaction standards (Version 5010) by January 1, 2012. We’re in the process of updating our systems to comply with this federal requirement. Version 5010 regulates the transmission of enrollment, eligibility, remittance, and other electronic health care transactions.
However far along you are in preparing for the Version 5010 upgrade, we can help. We're now testing with general trading partners. You should schedule testing with us if you have not already done so, or let us know if you are uncertain about when you will be ready to test, by contacting our e-business team at EDI@network-health.org or calling us at 888-257-1985.
Will all providers need to submit electronic claims using Version 5010 transactions?
How can I contact Network Health to schedule 5010 claims testing?
When will Network Health be ready to accept live 5010 claims?
What if we are unable to test and go-live with Network Health on 5010 by January 1, 2012?
- January 1, 2012 is a firm federal regulatory deadline. We do not anticipate a grace period.
- If your organization is at risk of being unable to generate and/or receive 5010 files by January 1, 2012, please contact us as soon as possible by sending us an e-mail at EDI@network-health.org or by calling us at 888-257-1985 so we can establish a remediation plan.
