We partner with MedSolutions, an organization that specializes in managing diagnostic services, to implement our radiology management program.

As a referring provider, we require you to request prior authorization from MedSolutions before ordering any outpatient, non-emergency MR, CT, and PET radiology services, and outpatient nuclear cardiology services. Failure to request prior authorization from MedSolutions may result in claims payment denials.

To request an authorization, contact MedSolutions:

• By phone at 888-693-3211, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• By fax at 888-693-3210
• On their secure Web site at www.medsolutionsonline.com

When prior authorization is complete, MedSolutions will fax a confirmation to you and the approved imaging facility. This confirmation will contain a MedSolutions reference number and a CPT code that is specific to the requested procedure. Please use this reference number when scheduling the procedure with the approved facility.
