We partner with MedSolutions, an organization that specializes in managing diagnostic services, to implement our radiology management program.

We require you, as a referring provider, to request prior authorization from MedSolutions before ordering any outpatient, non-emergency radiology imaging (MRA, MRI, CT, PET, nuclear cardiology) services. Failure to request prior authorization from MedSolutions may result in claims payment denials.

To request an authorization, contact MedSolutions:

• By phone at 888-693-3211, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• By fax at 888-693-3210
• On their secure Web site at www.medsolutionsonline.com

When prior authorization is complete, MedSolutions will fax a confirmation to you and the approved imaging facility. This confirmation will contain a MedSolutions reference number and a CPT code that is specific to the requested procedure. Please use this reference number when scheduling the procedure with the approved facility.
