Source of information, validation, and limitations

We receive information about doctor or specialist name, gender, medical group affiliation, hospital affiliation, office (or hospital) locations, languages fluently spoken (including provider languages, office staff languages, and availability of interpreter services), and acceptance of new patients from each doctor, specialist, or hospital/facility.

We validate this information at a minimum of every two years during re-credentialing (or every three years for hospitals). We verify information on specialty and board certification (or accreditation for hospitals) at the time of initial credentialing and re-verify this information at least every two years (three years for hospitals).

The accuracy of the information on our Web site depends on the accuracy and timeliness of the information reported to us by the doctors, specialists, hospitals/facilities, specialty medical boards, and hospital accreditation companies. We update any new information as we receive changes. For the most up-to-date information, please contact the doctor, specialist, or hospital/facility directly, or call us at 888-257-1985. We’ll be happy to help.
