NurseLine

At Network Health, we understand how important it is for your employees to feel in control of their health, and that means they need timely information and advice. Whether they’re concerned about a relatively minor problem like a skin rash, or a chronic disease like diabetes, we’re here to help. Network Health members can call our
24/7 NurseLine any time.

Health coaching

Network Health members can also take advantage of health coaching, which is available at no cost. Health coaching provides the support and information your clients need to help them feel their best and get the best care from their doctor. Your employees can get:

  • Personalized health coaching
Health coaches are specially trained health professionals (such as nurses, respiratory therapists, or dietitians) available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, to talk to your employees about their immediate or everyday health concerns. Health coaches can help your employees make healthy food choices, understand their medication, learn when to report symptoms to their doctor, and prepare for their next doctor’s visit.
  • Access to valuable health information
Health coaches can send your employees information on a wide variety of health topics. Health coaches also have videotapes and audio programs available.
  • Information on local health classes and services
Health coaches can talk about health classes and other health-related services in their community. Your employees can get help quitting smoking, losing weight, managing their diabetes, reducing the stress in their life, and much more.
  • Healthy reminders throughout the year
Depending on your employees' health needs, health coaches may send reminders about important tests or information your employees should discuss with their doctor.

Remember, our NurseLine and health coaching do not replace a doctor. If your employees need immediate medical attention, they should call 911, go to a nearby emergency room, or for behavioral health (mental health and/or substance abuse) emergencies, they should contact their local emergency services provider. For nonurgent issues, they should contact their health care provider.
