The Boston Business Journal will recognize Kopp as an honoree in the nonprofit category at the first yearly Boston Business Journal CFO of the Year award banquet on July 16, 2009 at Boston’s Park Plaza Hotel.

“We are thrilled that Russ will be honored with the CFO of the Year award. As an international volunteer to the Commonwealth of Dominica, Kopp initiated the formation of a library; rebuilt a local community center; rebuilt a children’s center; and sponsored several Dominican youth. At Sudbury United Methodist Church, Kopp has served as stewardship committee chair, finance committee member, and youth group leader.
