Network Health’s Redesigned Web site Empowers and Engages Health Care Consumers
Network Health designs interactive Web site, www.network-health.org, to provide real-time health care information to low- to moderate-income Massachusetts residents
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health today announced the launch of a new interactive Web site that empowers and engages health care consumers by providing real-time information on a wide range of topics, including member eligibility, cost, medical care, health risks, and extra benefits that members can enjoy. Network Health designed its comprehensive Web site to serve its prospective and current members and providers, health care consumers, community organizations, employers, and low- to moderate-income Massachusetts residents in a unique, affirmative way.
“We’re excited to unveil our new, enhanced Web site. Prospective and current members and providers told us that they wanted quick and easy access to eligibility, costs, benefits, and health information — and we delivered on it,” said Debbie Gordon, Network Health’s senior director of marketing. “We redesigned our Web site to provide this information and interact with our visitors in new and exciting ways.”
At www.network-health.org, you can find many new and enhanced features, including:
· An interactive Network Health Together™ and Network Health Forward™ membership eligibility and cost calculator, which helps visitors determine what state program and Network Health Plan Type they may qualify for, their estimated monthly costs, and their next steps for applying
· Network Health Member Connect portal, where members can order benefits, change their primary care provider (PCP), and view authorization and referral statuses
· An automated drug-interaction checker, which allows visitors to check drug interactions among their prescription and over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and herbal remedies
· Surveys and tools to assess health risks
· Member stories
· The Network Health Online Health Guide, where members can find valuable information and expert advice to make better health care and lifestyle decisions
By redesigning its Web site to better interact with prospective and current members, providers, and community partners, Network Health hopes to advance its core mission of improving the health and well-being of Massachusetts and their diverse communities.
