Network Health Wins 20 National Marketing Awards in 2008
Local health plan recognized for marketing excellence
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 150,000 Massachusetts residents with low or moderate income, announced today that the organization’s marketing and communications department, in recent months, has won 20 national marketing awards for promoting Network Health’s role in Massachusetts’ historic health care reform effort and for promoting several benefit programs designed to improve the health and well-being of its members.
Among its awards, Network Health won three gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal from the Aster Awards; two awards of distinction from the Communicator Awards; two certificates of merit from the National Health Information Awards; one gold award, one silver award, and two certificates of merit awards from Healthcare Marketing Report; a Lamplighter Award and certificate of merit from the Lamplighter Awards; one platinum award, one gold award, and two honorable mention awards from the MarCom Awards; and a certificate of merit from the Publicity Club of New England’s Bellringer Awards.

A broad range of Network Health’s marketing and communications materials were singled out, including radio ads, printed materials, direct mail campaigns, and special events.
