Network Health Launches Spanish-language Web site
www.network-health.org provides real-time health care information to
Spanish-speaking Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes

(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 170,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today the launch of its interactive Spanish-language Web site, www.network-health.org. The Web site empowers and engages Massachusetts’ Spanish-speaking health care consumers by providing real-time information on a wide range of health care topics, including member eligibility, cost, member benefits and services, and health and wellness information.

“Network Health is proud to offer a Spanish-language Web site that provides convenient access to information that helps Massachusetts residents understand their health care options and the benefits and services available to them,” said Deborah Gordon, Network Health chief marketing officer. “Our Spanish-language Web site demonstrates Network Health’s commitment to serve Spanish-speaking health care consumers and supports our mission to improve the health and well-being of our members and their diverse communities.”

The Spanish-language Web site includes many unique, interactive features, including:

  •  A membership eligibility and cost calculator, which helps visitors determine what state program and Plan Type they may qualify for, their estimated monthly costs, and their next steps for applying
  •  An interactive tool that helps visitors find a doctor, hospital, or pharmacy based on their specific needs
  • Network Health Member Connect, an online service to help members order ID cards, change their primary care provider, and view authorization and referral statuses
  • The Network Health Online Health Guide, where members can find valuable information and expert advice to make better health care and lifestyle decisions

Network Health redesigned its award-winning English-language Web site in 2009 to serve prospective and current members and providers, community organizations, and employers in a unique way. Network Health’s Spanish-language Web site displays the health plan’s dedication to best serve its members by implementing continuous quality improvements.

Web site visitors can choose to view the Web site in Spanish by selecting the “Language/Idioma – Spanish” option at the top of the home page and other select Web pages.
