Network Health Expands Commonwealth Care Coverage Area to Cape Cod and the Islands
Health plan receives state approval for service-area expansion to Cape Cod and the Islands,
boosting access to its Commonwealth Care network of leading hospitals,
community health centers, and physician practices
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 160,000 Massachusetts residents through its Network Health Together™ (MassHealth) and Network Health Forward™ (Commonwealth Care) plans, announced today an expansion of its Commonwealth Care provider network and subsequent state approval for an expansion of its service area to Cape Cod and the Islands. This move will allow the plan to increase its base of eligible Commonwealth Care members. For the first time, Cape and Islands residents who are eligible for Commonwealth Care will have a choice of health plans.

Network Health partners with a network of almost 15,000 primary care providers and specialists located in more than 300 cities and towns across Massachusetts.
