Network Health Appoints Senior Director of Clinical Operations
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health announced today the appointment of Mary McKendry to senior director, clinical operations. In her new position, McKendry is responsible for the overall operations of the medical management, behavioral health, and social care management teams at Network Health. Within this role, McKendry will implement processes to measure the quality of outcomes for all programs. She will also ensure social care management remains a hallmark program at Network Health by optimizing dedicated social work resources; communicating appropriate and effective program messages to members, contracted providers, and staff; creating process improvement cross-functionally with other key departments; and continuing to improve the plan’s integrated care management.
“Mary joins Network Health with decades of clinical and managerial experience from all facets of the health care industry,” said Dr. Pano Yeracaris, vice president and chief medical officer for Network Health. “She brings great energy to the organization and shares our deep passion for providing high-quality health care to Massachusetts residents who otherwise couldn’t afford it.”
McKendry previously served as director of health services at Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, where she was responsible for the delivery of health services for members, including case management, hospital-based and telephonic health care coordination, pre-authorization, community service, wellness programs, and the integration of medical and behavioral health services.
Prior to joining Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, McKendry served as vice president of operations for Renaissance Health Care, a specialty disease care management organization, which is a subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care, NA. In this role she was responsible for all medical and clinical services and was instrumental in the development of a new integrated social-medical disease care management model for kidney patients.
At McKesson Health Solutions, McKendry was responsible for consulting, education, and product training. Additionally, as the senior director of strategic relationships, she developed and implemented integrated medical management platforms.
McKendry earned both a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science from Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire
