Network Health Appoints Manager of Provider Engagement

(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 170,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today that it has appointed Jason Lyle Steingisser manager of provider engagement.

Steingisser will develop and oversee Network Health’s provider engagement program, including implementing corporate-wide strategic and tactical efforts to engage and support provider groups in new payment models; developing support tools for providers in new payment arrangements; and acting as a key resource to providers for evaluation and interpretation of ongoing performance measurements to support their delivery of high-quality care.

“Jason will have a central role in supporting Network Health providers as they transition to value-based contracts,” said Paul Burke, Network Health senior director of network management. “Jason will actively engage with providers to ensure they have the appropriate information and tools necessary to be successful in the new era of health care payment reform.”

Prior to joining Network Health, Steingisser was a consultant with Voyage Advisors, an aging services company that develops care management tools, where he provided legislative, policy, and strategic market analysis. Steingisser previously held positions at Verisk Health and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Steingisser earned a Bachelor of Arts in languages and linguistics from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, and a Master of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Hanover, NH.
