Network Health Appoints Director of Membership Marketing

MEDFORD, Mass. — Network Health, a Massachusetts health plan that provides high-quality health care coverage to more than 170,000 Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes, announced today that it has promoted Abby Tiner to director of membership marketing.

In her new role, Tiner will oversee all Network Health member acquisition, education, and retention efforts, including advertising, member communications, and member retention and renewal. Tiner will also lead the health plan’s community relations team and oversee market research efforts.

“Abby has a proven record of success in creating and executing targeted, data-driven marketing strategies,” said Deborah Gordon, Network Health chief marketing officer. “I am confident that Abby’s dedication to our members, as well as her outstanding project management and process improvement skills, position her well to lead Network Health efforts to grow and retain our membership base.”

Tiner has been an integral Network Health marketing team member since 2007, serving as corporate marketing specialist and most recently as manager of corporate marketing and media relations. As manager, Tiner oversaw the health plan’s advertising, communications, public relations, Web, events, and community relations activities. 

Prior to Network Health, Tiner served as staffing manager, finance and health care at Professional Staffing Group in Boston, Mass., where she excelled in new client acquisition and client placement, and created a new health care service line.

Tiner earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
