Network Health Appoints Director of Medical Management
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health announces the appointment of Jean Wong O’Malley to director, medical management. In her new position, O’Malley will oversee all aspects of medical management, offering members a full range of services to improve their health care. She will also oversee Network Health’s medical management, clinical, and outreach teams.
“Jean joins Network Health with considerable clinical and managerial experience ensuring efficient, high-quality, and appropriate care for patients in hospital networks,” said Dr. Pano Yeracaris, vice president and chief medical officer for Network Health. “Jean brings an understanding of the day-to-day work in a medical management department along with a keen awareness of the challenges of caring for vulnerable populations.”
O’Malley previously served as associate director of health services at University of California, San Diego Medical Center, where she coordinated the case management and the utilization management teams. O’Malley worked in collaboration with health plan medical directors and care managers to ensure high-quality care.
O’Malley earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in health care from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Boston University.
