Network Health Appoints Director of Integrated Care Management
(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health announced today the appointment of Marilyn McCourt as director of integrated care management. McCourt will lead Network Health’s integrated care management efforts — including medical, behavioral health, and social care management — to coordinate member care and ensure high-quality health care and outcomes.
McCourt is Network Health’s first director of integrated care, a newly created position. Network Health has always used an integrated care management model; however, Network Health created the position to formalize the next evolution of its integrated care management model approach.
“Marilyn has a proven track record of successfully launching and sustaining health programs that best serve and improve the health of vulnerable populations,” said Mary McKendry, senior director, clinical affairs for Network Health. “Network Health and its members will greatly benefit from Marilyn’s experience in streamlining integrated care management strategies to ensure our members get the highest quality health care possible.”
McCourt previously served as program manager for health programs at Tufts Health Plan, where she successfully managed several disease-management and wellness programs, including annual vaccination campaigns and disease-prevention initiatives.
Prior to working at Tufts Health Plan, McCourt served as business unit leader for the utilization review team at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. In this role, McCourt managed the health plan’s utilization review team to ensure the plan met its provider and member needs and complied with contractual obligations.
McCourt earned a Bachelor of Arts from Emmanuel College and a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Simmons College.
