Network Health’s Nancy Carlucci honored by the Association for Behavioral Healthcare

(Medford, Mass.) — Network Health today announced that Nancy Carlucci, manager of care management, received an “Innovative Practice Award” from the Association for Behavioral Healthcare during its 10th Anniversary Provider Celebration on October 23 at The Westin Waltham Hotel.

Carlucci was a member of the Massachusetts Standardized Documentation Project leadership team, a cross-agency team of Massachusetts health care professionals. The team reviewed existing health care documents doctors use for mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and developed best practice standardized documentation processes for programs serving children, adolescents, and adults.

“Creating standardized documentation processes is an important first step in the movement toward statewide electronic medical records,” said Carlucci. “Our team continues to look for new ways to improve our health care system and provide the best patient care.”

Mary McKendry, Network Health’s senior director of clinical affairs, separately praised Carlucci and her team’s dedication.

“Nancy and her team are dedicated to making sure Massachusetts’ health care system is efficient, consistent, and gives every patient the best care possible,” said McKendry. “The team’s work to standardize health care documents complements the state’s health care reform efforts, and lays groundwork for future innovation.”
