Important information about the Affordable Care Act (ACA)
The ACA is a national health care law intended to improve access to affordable health care coverage for more individuals and families across the country. Many parts of the law go into effect January 1, 2014, and will affect you and your family’s health care coverage.
As a Network Health Choice member, you will likely become eligible for a Health Connector plan. You may also be eligible for assistance from the government. Your coverage will depend on your age, citizenship, and yearly household income.
Network Health Choice non-group coverage ends on March 31, 2014. You will need to apply for new coverage before March 15, 2014. Network Health Choice group coverage ends on November 30, 2014. Either you or your employer will need to apply for new coverage before November 30, 2014.
You should have or will soon get communications from the state and from us. Please remember: We are here to help and we want you to stay a Network Health member!
