  • Network Health is a nonprofit, comprehensive health plan based in Medford, Mass., that provides access to high-quality health care to Massachusetts residents with low and moderate incomes.
  • Network Health is a Tufts Health Plan affiliate.
  • Network Health is one of six Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MMCOs) contracted by the state to provide health care coverage for the state’s Medicaid population (those eligible for MassHealth and Commonwealth Care), and the only MMCO contracted by the state to provide health insurance coverage for the state's Medical Security Program Direct Coverage plan.
  • Network Health is one of nine health plans contracted by the state to provide health care coverage for the state’s Commonwealth Choice population.
  • Network Health serves members through Network Health Together® (MassHealth), Network Health Forward® (Commonwealth Care), Network Health Extend™ (Medical Security Program), and Network Health Choice (an individual and small-group plan).
  • Network Health is available in more than 300 cities and towns, and serves more than 135,000 MassHealth members, 70,000 Commonwealth Care members, and 13,000 Medical Security Program members.

  • Network Health’s Commonwealth Care plan, Network Health Forward, extends access to affordable health care for qualified residents 19 years or older who earn at or below 300% of the federal poverty level: approximately $34,476 a year for an individual or $70,656 a year for a family of four.
  • Network Health’s Medical Security Program Direct Coverage plan, Network Health Extend, provides access to affordable health care for qualified residents receiving unemployment insurance, and their families, who earn at or below 400% of the federal poverty level: approximately $45,960 a year for an individual or $94,200 for a family of four.
  • Network Health's individual and small-group plan, Network Health Choice, provides access to affordable health care for individuals and families who are not eligible for employer-sponsored insurance, and employer groups with 1 – 50 employees. 
  • Network Health offers an interdisciplinary approach to care coordination. A fully integrated, in-house care management team of medical, behavioral health, social care, and pharmacy professionals works together to coordinate member care.
  • Network Health earned the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s (NCQA) "Excellent" Health Plan Accreditation status, NCQA’s highest accreditation rating, for its Network Health Together plan. In 2012, NCQA’s Health Insurance Plan Rankings ranked Network Health as the third highest Medicaid Health Plan in the United States. Since 2010, Network Health has ranked among the top 10 Medicaid health plans nationally, according to NCQA’s Health Insurance Plan Rankings — Medicaid. Network Health is among 10 health plans nationally and the first health plan in New England to earn the NCQA Multicultural Health Care Distinction.
