Since 1997, we have been committed to our mission of improving the health and wellness of the diverse communities we serve. Today, as a division of Tufts Health Plan, we provide access to high-quality, comprehensive health care for more than 240,000 Massachusetts residents in more than 300 cities and towns across Massachusetts.
Operating as a nonprofit, we are contracted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to serve a portion of our state’s MassHealth, One Care, and Qualified Health Plan population. We offer three health plans: Tufts Health Together (MassHealth), Tufts Health Unify (Medicare-Medicaid One Care for people ages 21 – 64), and Tufts Health Direct (an individual and small-group plan).
We offer fully integrated, in-house care management, providing a team of medical, behavioral health, social care, and pharmacy professionals who coordinate member care. We partner with thousands of primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, and community organizations statewide.
We earned the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) “Excellent” Health Plan Accreditation status, NCQA’s highest accreditation rating, for our Tufts Health Together plan. In 2014, NCQA’s Health Insurance Plan Rankings ranked Tufts Health Plan – Network Health as the #1 Medicaid health plan in the United States. Since 2010, we have ranked among the top 10 Medicaid health plans nationally, according to NCQA's Health Insurance Plan Rankings — Medicaid.
